Samara Chavez (ARWC) vs. Morgan Turner (AISI): An exhilarating match with attacks right of the bat. The 2-time U17 gold medalist, Turner held her own against the King University alumni. Turners' powerful offense was a thing of beauty as she bulldozed through Chavez. Chavez in on good leg attacks did not equal points as Turner won by tech fall with a score of 11-0.
Kendra Ryan (CAWC) vs. Emily Shilson (TMWC): With a not-so-good start from Shilson, she made the comeback in the latter half of the match to exceed Ryan. However, it wasn't enough. Ryan's single leg takedown gave her the criteria, and with that same single leg attack, it gave her the lead. Ryan over Shilson via decision with a score of 10-6.

Isabella Marie Gonzales (IWTM) vs. Vayle Baker (ARWC): The Iowa Hawkeye had some good scrambles against Baker. A match with good hand-fighting and steady attacks. No sign of rushing or forcing any attacks, just amazing timing and good pacing. Gonzales did more than just hold her own against Baker; she dominated the second period. With an amazing inside trip, Gonzales put Baker on her back and secured her spot to the semifinals via fall.
Sydney Petzinger (LRN) vs. Kaelani Shufeldt (CAWC): Petzinger, representing Lehigh Wrestling club, dominated this match against the North Central 110-pounder. Shufelt's scrambles were not enough to beat the U23 Bronze medalist and NCWWC national champion. Petzinger's defense nearly impenetrable, she fought hard and looked nothing but tough the entire match. Petzinger over Shudeldt via decision with a score of 11-2.

Rose Kaplan (WART) vs. Sara Sterner (CAWC): An equally powered match. Sterner demonstrated strength as she attempted to push Kaplan around the mat, however Kaplan held good defense through the entire match. Kaplan's attempts at big moves were not for the best. With good defense from Sterner at the end, Kaplans attacks were stopped short. Sterner over Kaplan with a score of 6-1.
Marissa Gallegos (TMWC) vs. Mateah Roehl (AWA): Roehl looking good from the start however it couldn't match Gallegos tenacity. The Titan Mercury wrestler's arm spins were a sight to behold, giving her the lead by criteria and a steppingstone for the rest of the match. The back-and-forth match was abruptly stopped by Gallegos fall over Roehl.

Cameron Geurin (TMWC) vs. Amani Jones (TMWC): A close match between Geurin and Jones. Geurin in the lead through the first period with a single take down and an activity point against Jones. However, Jones responded with a takedown and near-fall points to pull ahead and ultimately win the match with a score of 4-3.
Alexandra Szkotnicki (BEWC) vs. Sarah Savidge (ARWC): The Bearcat was nothing short of successful. Szkotnicki with the quick tech-fall over Savidge, showcasing why she's a 2023 U20 Pan-American champ.

Claire Dicungo (CANY) vs. SaVannah Cosme (SOWC): Domination through the match, Dicungno's excellent defense and even better offense solidified her tech-fall over Cosme.
Hanna Errthum (USWM) vs. Aine Drury (NYAC): Errthum with the spectacular headlock, not even a minute into the first period, secured her fall over Drury and secured her spot into the semifinals.

Nora Akpan (PWC) vs. Katerina Lange (LAWC): Showcasing why she was the first NCAA women's wrestling champion, Lange demonstrating excellent offense and a dominating performance over Akpan.
Jennifer Page (TMWC) vs. Jamilah McBryde (CWA): An exciting match to watch. The quick footwork of McBryde was beautiful, but it couldn't stop the strength of Jennifer Page. Strong offense was the name of the game and Page was all offense from the get-go.
Alissa Caltagrioe (NNTC) vs. Reese Larramendy (IWTM): Good pacing has been Larramendy's specialty, and it wasn't lacking in this match. With a 2-point lead all throughout the 1st period, Caltagrio felt the pressure to score; but it wasn't enough against the Hawkeye. Larramendy's defense impenetrable as she won the match with a score of 6-0.

Amit Elor (NYCRTC/TMWC) vs. Joye Levendusky (TMWC): An exciting return from the Olympic gold medalist. Her inside trip was textbook, but her turns were even better. With quick takedowns, Elor made a triumphant first match back with a tech fall over Levendusky.
Kaylynn Albrecht (USOPTC/TMWC) vs. Alexandra Alli (USWM): Forces to be reckoned with. This match was a demonstration of strength. Fierce underhooks were the main attraction of the match. Albrecht scored the first take down with a duck. Using this as a pushing-off point, Albrecht hit Alli with two go-behinds to score another 4 points. With Alli's only two points coming from the activity clock and a push-out, Albrecht takes the win via decision with a score of 6-2.
Jasmine Robinson (WCAP) vs. Skylar Grote (TMWC): The 2022 Senior Pan-American champion, Skylar Grote pulled away with the victory over the 2x U20 and 2x U23 champion, Jasmine Robinson. With primary control over the center, Grote was able to score a takedown and dominate the first period. Robinson was aggressive with the hand-fighting which paid off with an early take-down in the second period. However, it was not enough against Grote who scored yet another takedown on the edge of the mat in Robinsons attempt to not give up a push-out point. Grote received two additional points from a activity clock and a failed challenge for Robinson. Grote wins by decision with a score of 6-2.
Latifah McBryde (CWA) vs. Precious Wieser (TMWC): Another mother coming to compete and show that she can do it all. Precious Wieser, the 2026 Senior pan-am 72kg champion won with the quick 27 second fall over NCAA All-American Latifah McBryde.

Erin Golston (NYAC) vs. Morgan Turner (AISI): Turners next opponent is one of the most decorated women's freestyle sentences. A 2x senior national champion, 3x Junior world medalist, and a 7x senior national team member. However, Golston could not prevail against the unstoppable force that is Morgan Turner. Both incredibly fast and aggressive wrestlers but Turner was pushing the pace. With only 1 step-out point scored in the first period, Turner brought the heat and scored two takedowns over Golston. Turner earns the win via decision with score of 5-0.
Kendra Ryan (CAWC) vs. felicity Taylor (TMWC): Felicity Taylor showed domination. The former Hawkeye delivered an easy win over Ryan. With two nearly simultaneous take downs, Taylor delivered the finishing blow with two trapped-arm tilts to score the final 4 points and secure the tech.

Elena Ivaldi (CALI) vs. Isabella Gonzales (IWTM): The Hawkeye continues into the tournament but is stopped short by Elena Ivaldi. The 3rd place finisher of the 2024 U23 Pan-Am's, Elena Ivaldi had Gonzales in trouble from the beginning. With several good shots, Ivaldi never gave Gonzales a moment of rest. With a challenge win for back-exposure points, Gonzales was tied for a period of time but not before being taken down again and eventually put to her back in the second period. Ivaldi advances to the finals with a fall over Gonzales.
Sydney Petzinger (LRN) vs. Jaslynn Gallegos (CAWC): Jaslynn Gallegos, the 6x All American scored the first take down of the period after extensive hand-fighting. Petzinger opened up the second period with quick footwork and aggressive hand fighting. Petzinger was able to lock up a cradle but was only able to score 2 points from the takedown. After Petzinger scored two more takedowns, Gallegos responded with a takedown of her own, but it wasn't enough. Petzinger continues to the finals with a win via decision with a score of 6-4.

Areana Villaescusa (ARWC) vs. Sara Sterner (CAWC): Villaescusa, a bronze medalist at the 2026 Zagreb open, commandeered control over this match from the beginning. With an excellent body-lock, Villaescusa was able to score the first take down and proceed to score 6 more points by back exposure. With defense against a headlock, Sterner was able to score a takedown but not before giving up another 2 points for back exposure when we rolled through Villaescusa's throw. In the second period, after an attempted body lock throw, Sterner was able to utilize the instability and trip Villaescusa for 4 points (feet to back). Sterner got over-zealous with the throws which allowed Villaescusa to defend and therefore score her second takedown of the match.
Marissa Gallegos (TMWC) vs. Alexandra Hedrick (TMWC): Alexandra Hedrick, a runner-up at the 2024 Olympic team trials, was just amazing. Smoothy flowing through Gallegos 4-pointer, Hedrick magically ended up on top scored her won takedown. Hedrick didn't stop there. With a tight gut wrench, Hedrick rolled Gallegos over six consecutive times. Hedrick moves onto the finals after a devastating tech fall with a score of 14-4.

Michaela beck (TMWC) vs. Amani Jones (TMWC): The 2024 Pan-Ams Silver medalist, Michaela Beck takes on the 2x NCWWC champion, Amani Jones. What initially started out as a slow-paced match, didn't stay that way. Jones scores the first takedown, but Beck responds with an aggressive push out point. The second period commences with an exciting back and forth. Jones hits Beck with a headlock to score 4 but beck quickly responds with a reversal for a point. Jones continues scoring, earning two takedowns and a push-out point. Jones advances to the finals via win by tech fall.
Alexandra Szkotnicki (BEWC) vs. Alexis Janiak (TMWC): An absolute unit, the NCWWC National champion Alexis Janiak takes on the Bearcat, Alexandra Szkotnicki. A fairly slow-paced match, the first point being awarded to Janiak due to passivity in the first period. In the second period, Szkotnicki led by criteria with her own passivity point over Janiak. Szkotnicki was then able to score a pushout point and lead the match 2-1. This couldn't stop Janiak though. Janiak was able to get in deep on a double leg and secure exposure points over Szkotnicki with 45 seconds left in the match. Szkotnicki was unable to catch up. Janiak heads to the finals via win by decision with a score of 3-2.

Macey Kilty (IWTM) vs. Hanna Errthum (USWM): Talk about absolutely terrifying. What has Macey Kilty not done, she is one of the most decorated women's freestyle wrestlers in the world. Coming off of an amazing fall over Drury, Errthum had her work cut out for her to make it to finals, but she was unable to prevail. Kilty had Errthum in defensive positions from the beginning. With quick offense, Kilty proceeded to score 9 points within the first 3 minutes of the first period. Kilty delivered the final blow with a quick 4-pointer therefore ended the match and sent Kilty to the finals via tech fall with a score of 13-0
Claire DiCugno (CANY) vs. Alara Boyd (TMWC): Placing 3rd at the U.S. open. Alara Boyd comes in for her final chance to compete for a spot on the world team trials. DiCugno comes off a dominant win over Cosme. The match started off slow with only Boyd primarily shooting, which earned her a passivity point over Dicugno. However, Dicugno responded with her own takedown mid-period. Dicugno kept that fire going as she scored another takedown with a minute left after keeping tension between her and Boyd. Boyd responds with a pushout point and attempted to push the pace to catch up with Dicugno. However, Dicugno played the defensive game well as she scored her last takedown at the last second while defending Boyd's shot.

Emma Bruntil (TMWC) vs. Katerina Lange (LAWC): Bruntil, a 2x NCAA champion faces Katerina Lange. Even though the first point was awarded for passivity to Bruntil, Lange retaliated with her own takedown to lead the match in the first period. This made Bruntil bring more aggression in the second period. Catching Lange mid-takedown, Bruntil was able to reverse it to her favor and pin Lange barely 30 seconds into the 2nd period. Bruntil advances to the finals via fall.
Jennifer page (TMWC) vs. Reese Larramendy (IWTM): Both slow pacing wrestlers, Page scored first with a push out point and received a second point due to passivity of Larramendy. In the second period, a little bit of chaos occurred. With Page attempting a shot, Larramendy was able to flip her over for a split second to score exposure points, but it didn't last long as Page continued to roll through. Putting Larramendy on her back, Page was able to win via fall and advance to the finals.

Amit Elor (NYTM) vs. Kaylynn Albrecht (USTM): Dominating the hand fighting, Elor received the first point for passivity from Albrecht. Elor came back in the second period and brought the heat. Quickly scored a push out point, Elor didn't stop there. After scoring a four pointer, Elor caught Albrecht on her back and won with an excellent pin. Elor continues to finals in a dominant fashion.
Skylar Grote (TMWC) vs. Precious Wieser (TMWC): Wieser shot right off the whistle, setting the pace for how this match was going to go. Wieser hit a powerful double leg to score a four-pointer. Grote delivers her own aggression by responding with a push out point against Weiser. Both wrestlers continue this back and frost with Wieser scoring another double leg takedown, and Grote getting another pushout point. Continuing her aggression, scored back-to-back 4-pointers and beat Grote via tech fall and secured her trip to the finals.
FINALS:
50kg- Morgan Turner (AISI) vs. Felicity Taylor (TMWC): Morgan Turner hadn't been scored upon all tournament, but Taylor wasn't going to let that slide. Turner was nothing but aggression. She was receiving warnings for hands to the face not even 10 seconds into the match. Taylor brought the heat as well. With her signature firemen's carry, Taylor scored the first takedown and got Turner on her back. Turner showing a picture-perfect bridge, she was able to reverse it and scored her first point of the match. Turner ends the period with aggression, trying to score as quickly as possible but was unable to score before the clock ran out. Second period was fireworks. Turner came back in explosive. She was able to score three times with her powerful double leg to take the lead over Taylor. Taylor responds with heavy hand fighting and a takedown on the edge with 7 seconds left in the match. However, Turner didn't lay down and take the loss. With a perfectly timed ankle pick right off the whistle, Turner scored 2 to win the match. Taylors team did challenge but to no avail, which gives Turner another point. Turner is the 50kg world team trials champion and will take on Katie Gomez, who previously defeated Turner at the U.S. open.
53kg- Elena Ivaldi (CALI) vs. Sydney Petzinger (LRN): One of the, if not the, most intense women's match all tournament. Ivaldi showing, she did not come to mess around by asserting herself and scoring a quick push out point. Petzinger trying to hit a slick pass-by, but Ivaldi caught her foot and turned it into a takedown of her own, but she didn't stop there. She hit two crafty leg laces to score 4 more points. This match took a turn as Petzinger did challenge and the entirety of the score was changed. Petzinger was awarded two for putting Ivaldi in a dangerous position while she was attempting the leg lace. Then they awarded Ivaldi another point for a reversal of said position and therefore brining the score to 8-2 with Ivaldi in the lead. Ivaldi didn't let this challenge shake her. With Petzinger starting in the par terre position, Ivaldi was able to quickly score 2 with a gut wrench. While going for another gut wrench, Petzinger was able to step over halfway through and received a reversal with Ivaldi on her back. Back on their feet, Ivaldi with the quick response. She scores another takedown on Petzinger's pass-by. The back-and-forth action continued as Petzinger scored a huge 4 pointer with a nasty double leg. Ivaldi scores another takedown with a fairly easy single leg. Ivaldi received another point after a failed challenge from Petzinger. In the second period, Petzinger hit a quick single leg to score. Using her positioning, Petzinger had a trap-arm gut wrench situation and scored another 2. Ivaldi, with her fighting spirit, scored 2 for the counter exposure while Petzinger was attempting another turn. Ivaldi uses her signature leg lace to score 6 more points. Now on the edge of a tech fall, Petzinger tries anything and everything, attempting an arm spin was sadly not the best move. Ivaldi was able to capitalize on the instability and scored her final takedown to secure the tech fall. Ivaldi moves onto Final X where she will take on Cristelle Rodriguez.
55kg - Areana Villaescusa (ARWC) vs. Alexandra Hedrick (TMWC): After an excited semifinals match, the anticipation behind Hedrick was at an all-time high. Villaescusa staying tough with the 2 on 1's, making it hard to be scored on in this match. Villaescusa controlled center very well throughout this match. Vallaescusa earned her first point via passivity on Hedrick. Using that 2-on-1, Villaescusa was able to pull Hedrick to the mat and score her first takedown. However, Hedrick suffered a dislocated shoulder and was lying on the ground for a long period of time. Hedick wanted to continue fighting and opted to continue the match. In the second period, after a 15-minute first period, Villaescusa received another passivity point over Hedrick. Hedrick playing it very tight and keep her elbows in as to most likely not injure her shoulder again. Taking Hedrick down to the mat, Vallaescusa was able to score her final takedown of the match. Villaescusa wins by decision with a score of 6-0. Villaescusa heads to Final x where she'll face Everest Leydecker.
59kg - Alexis Janiak (TMWC) vs. Amani Jones (TMWC): Starting off the match, no real committed attacks lead to Amani Jones taking the lead by passivity over Janiak. With Jones now pushing the gas pedal, Janiak was able to capitalize an attempted takedown from Jones and scored a pushout point. In the 2nd period, Jones was put on the shot clock but time ran out, giving Janiak a passivity point. In moments of desperation of the last 10 seconds of the match, Jones attempted a takedown by trying to sit underneath but was caught by Janiak, giving her the final takedown. Alexis Janiak wins by decision with a score of 4-1. Janiak continues to the final x where she'll face Abigail Nette.
62kg- Macey Kilty (IWTM) vs. Claire DiCugno (CANY): Kilty dominated from the beginning, quickly scoring a 4 pointer in the first 30 seconds of the match. She switched immediately to a chicken wing, earning her back exposure points. She held this position before eventually pinning DiCugno. Macey Kilty wins via fall. Kilty travels to final x where she'll face Adaugo Nwachukwu.
65kg- Jennifer Page (TMWC) vs. Emma Bruntil (TMWC): A slow-paced match, Page received her first point by passivity of Bruntil. In the second period, the same situation happened. Providing Bruntil with her first point of the match via passivity. Action picked up when Page hit Bruntil with a sick headlock to secure a takedown. Bruntil was put back on the shot clock but was unable to finish her takedown attempt before awarding Page another passivity point. Bruntil was still putting up a fight, now firing off shots, she was able to score a pushout point, but it wasn't enough. Jennifer Page wins by decision with a score of 4-2. Jennifer Page moves onto final X where she'll face Kayla Miracle.
72kg- Amit Elor (NYTM) vs. Precious Wieser (TMWC): Fireworks right off the bat. Wieser wasted no time trying to get to her attack, but Elor prevailed with brilliant defense. Wieser was trying to use her length to score with an inside trip, but Elor stayed on top of it. Elor scored the first point via pushout, using Wieser's momentum. On Wieser's shot attempt, Elor caught the wrist was turned it around to score a takedown of her own. Switching from a nearside cradle to a single leg, Elor wasn't quite able to get the takedown but was able to push out Wieser again. Staying aggressive, Elor scored yet another pushout points against Wieser. Precious Wieser did not back down in the second period, Elor and Wieser went for the body lock, but Wieser was almost able to capitalize. Elor was almost down on the mat, but Elor prevailed once again. Elor stayed aggressive, she attempted a drag but switched to leg and scored her 4th pushout point of the match. Wieser was placed on the shot clock and not a second later Elor scored a takedown using a go-behind on Wieser's shot. Elor received a passivity point over Wieser. Wieser attempting another double leg but was caught in a cow catcher and put to her back. Amit Elor wins via fall. Amit Elor was set to take on Alex Gaude at Final X however Gaude unfortunately had to forfeit due to an ACL tear, automatically giving Amit Elor the world team place for 72kg.
